Employment: Full Time

As a Graduate Traffic Engineer, you will be involved in delivering a wide range of planning and design projects for our clients across Dubai and Northern Emirates. Applicants will need to be professional, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to prioritize the successful execution of a wide range of traffic and ITS engineering project related tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Traffic studies including planning, engineering, design, operations, safety, traffic impacts, and evaluation of alternatives through engineering analysis using data, models, and other tools.
• Data analysis including the compilation, processing, and evaluation of data using spreadsheets, databases, specific software solutions, or other tools to identify trends and draw conclusions relative to enhancing the operations/maintenance of transportation infrastructure.
• Complete project tasks as assigned in an organized manner, communicating progress, delays, priority conflicts, and other matters with supervisors to support a coordinated project delivery.
• Communicate effectively in the form of e-mail, memoranda, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain project records; organize project submittal reviews and other miscellaneous project support tasks.
• Supporting project managers and senior staff by participating in client meetings to discuss project requirements and deliverables, etc.
• Working within established project teams to deliver planning, design and junction analysis tasks

REQUIREMENTS

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
• Internship and interest in transportation and traffic engineering
• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples Synchro, Sidra and HCS)
• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

Job Description

 

Roles & Responsibilities: –

  • Planning, execution, and supervision of civil works as per the specification of the project
  • Mobilization and procuring materials as per specifications.
  • Effective utilization of manpower and capital tools with proper planning and monitoring.
  • Preparation of program schedules and monitoring progress of works.
  • Preparing technical and administrative reports (progress reports, incident reports, inventory reports etc.)
  • Preparing and approving the BOQ of works executed by sub-contractors.
  • Preparing shop drawings whenever required.
  • Preparing and submitting the method statements for the consultant’s approval.
  • Reviewing and preparing the documents of re-submittals.
  • Document control and site correspondence.
  • Coordinating with other engineers and various sub-contractors.
  • Dealing effectively with Main Contractor Engineers and Consultants.
  • Reporting to the Project Manager on site works on daily basis.
  • Supporting Estimation team for upcoming projects
  • Making the quantities of the construction material and raising material request
  • Following up supplier for sample submission and submitting to consultant for approval prior to use at site.
  • Following up with designer for issuing of RFC drawings prior to start work at site and Field modifications (FMR)
  • Attending client and consultant meeting with project manager for progress and quality enhancement.
  • Participating in site inspections with consultant and client for getting approvals.
  • Making schedules of daily activities and planning
  • Monitoring/maintaining QA/QC procedures and safety at site.

Civil Structural Engineer

On behalf of a Major operator, WRS are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to work in Dubai on a contract basis. This will be a residential position, oferring a long term contract paying an hourly rate in USD

The role itself will focus on a large-scale offshore gas project, providing production/injection gas facilities. The project will support the oil/gas production with gas injection and gas lift facilities.

  • EPC/FEED Analysis and design of modular steel structures including sea transportation, lifting analysis, skidding analysis, load out and stress analysis.

  • EPC/FEED Design of structural steel technological structures, process plant structures.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline
  • 10-15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry petrochemical project
  • Previous operator/PMC experience
