JOB DESCRIPTION:
Delivery function within the sustainability team. Role includes acquiring and analysing data penitent to EGA’s sustainability performance and delivering on improvement projects, updates to processes and providing oversight that will help achieve EGA’s strategic objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support with the development and implementation of EGA’s Net Zero aspirations, Responsible Sourcing Strategy, Social Management Systems, Climate Change Adaptation, Biodiversity Action Planning, and other sustainability related management systems and outcomes.
- Assist with external audits to confirm vendor compliance against EGA’s responsible sourcing standards. Facilitate with identification of close our requirements and action planning.
- Support EGA’s interests at international forums and during the development of new ESG standards for the metals and mining sector.
- Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, support in affirming EGA’s international status as a responsible producer and delivering on EGA’s bold aspirations.
- Support in the development of tools and systems to measure EGA’s performance against key ESG performance indicators and assist in the identification of suitable improvement opportunities.
- Ensure adequate data capture and alignment according to necessary performance reporting and required responses to customer queries.
- Support the Sustainability Team in ensuring EGA is able to meet relevant international sustainability standards and international regulations.
- Oversee internal audits to confirm EGA compliance against sustainability related commitments and facilitate with identification of close our requirements and action planning.
- Role is UAE based, but may require travel overseas, particularly to Guinea (where EGA bauxite mine is based).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience with the development of sustainability management frameworks, processes and procedures.
- Recognized professional with a relevant certification body (ISSP, IEMA etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with the aluminium value chain or similar industries is desirable.
- Understanding of key, global environmental social and governance issues.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (master’s degree in a relevant subject is preferred).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Holistic understanding of sustainability issues, covering environmental, social and governance aspects.
- Experience working with sustainability data compilation and analysis.
- Critical thinking and able to work independently to a common goal.
- Must be a formally trained auditor.

SAP Finance Solutions Delivery Lead
JOB PURPOSE:
Plan, lead, implement, coordinate, monitor, measure, and report the status of SAP implementation, deployment and sustenance of company’s business data processing and Information Systems contributing to resource optimisation, quality enhancement, customer service, and/or information security aligning to company’s commercial and operational needs

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Develops and oversees the implementation of policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Business Applications under his/her responsibility to ensure that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and quality standards are fulfilled while delivering a high quality, cost-effective service to the business in line with its strategic and operational requirements.
Delivery of Enterprise Applications Services
- Identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, evaluate, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, and management, security and service delivery with the help of all necessary supporting teams.
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Lead and co-ordinate to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Includes fit-gap analysis & application of best practices to create reusable, configurable, & high performing application designs
- Perform proactive investigations to surface opportunities for process improvements as well as assist in the preparation of functional specifications for newly proposed systems solutions, and assist in preparing and executing test plans for all changes and enhancements, and ensure to keep all end user training documentation current.
